Felt rushed: not reassured. Just return in 3-4 weeks if not any better: Having waited 10 days to see a Dr.

It's not uncommon for us to ask people to give it time to settle. But we are usually able to explain this, so that you are reassured with the plan. Doesn't sound like we managed to do that, this time round, sorry. The 10 day wait is excellent compared to other practices.

Not good, system was playing uo and then receptionist could not find me. I have been waiting nearly 5 years still no hope. Having pain.

Appologies for the checking in screen not working. I will ask reception staff to ensure if there are recurrent issues with that, to get it fixed. It can be frustrating when things don't run smoothly, I agree.

As a complex needs patient I always get the enhanced care I need from all the Dr's, nurses, the whole team in fact.

For a week I had a very chesty cough which kept me awake at night. I called in at the clinic on Tuesday 15th and although I did not have an appointment, it was arranged for a paramedic to see me later in the day. He examined me and prescribed antibiotics (doxycyline) - I was able to pick this up at Boots on my way home ! I could not have asked for more. I find all the staff I see helpful, friendly and efficient. From XX.

I was very appreciative of getting an appointment today 15th Augst @ 10:35a.m and saw the paramedic who diagnosed a viral infection. He prescribed a course antibiotics but the prescription had to be authorised by a doctor. I have just phoned the pharmacy 2.30pm nothing received. I have just phoned the surgery, couldn't give me a time of when the prescription would be signrd off but told pharmacy is open intill 6.30pm. As the paramedic wanted the antibiotics started imemdiately which usally means same day, to be still waiting some 4 hours plus after my appointment and the prescription still not reached the pharmacy is very disappointing. Hopefully my symptoms don't worsen before geting antibiotics.

Appologies about this. I agree it's not ideal. I know it doesn't sound like much (just a click of a mouse button), but the problem is that the doctor who needs to authorise the prescription is busy with other patients, phone calls, emails, internal messages and people knocking on their door with queries. Leave it with me to try and find a solution to reduce the chance of this happening in the future. Thank you for highlighting it.

Since joining the practice a few months ago, due to my doctor leaving and me living outside the area, i need to find a new doctors, i really wish i had not joined here though, have struggled to get my prescriptions, you changed the amount from monthly to weekly with a real poor excuse, ordered prescriptions only to find out that you have not done them, si i ran out, and i think the worst is you don't listen its a shame because there is a couple of lovely doctors, i just find the whole experience a nightmare and i get so stressed and depressed when it comes to getting my prescriptions that I've been on for years, no one should be made'd to feel this way especially at a doctor surgery where understanding and compassioan should be top of the list, but to be told we are BUSY!!

This is a tricky one. You were quite upset and raising your voice at the reception staff ( I clearly heard you all the way down the end of the corridor into my consultation room). You said you were not going to leave the practice until a doctor see's you there and then. I'm sorry, that's not how things work. I was busy with dealing with other patients and had to leave that work, to tell you face to face that we will not be issuing you with any more morphine medication at all, and if you refused to leave our premises I will call the police to remove you forcibly. We cannot give you extra morphine just because you are overdosing on it. I know the pharmacist spoke to you after you sent the above message to us, and he explained it all to you in detail i.e. follow the directions on the label rather than taking an overdose. Hope it's all sorted from now on. I can totally appreciate the stress it's caused you. I agree, if we did not communicate our decision to you quickly then we should improve that, apologies.

We cant do much about the mess in Manor. Although I'd like to know which hospitals in the UK are not struggling. As for post code lottery, i totally agree it's not fair. It's one for you to take up with the government and NHS health boards in terms of what services they offer. Thanks.

The doctor I saw makes you feel very at ease, even tho it's female problems and he's a man. Very pleased.

My 2 1/2 year old daughter seen to for ear infection. Doctor was very calming as my daughter was frightened : )

Dr in room 116 (26/4/23) [Dr Lad]. This doctor is outstanding !! He arranged an appointment promptly after initial call. Was extremely professional, polite, helpful and really took his time to explain things. Genuinely seems interested in helping and achieving the best outcome. Big thanks. Refreshing to see !

TOLD I HAD AN INFECTION GLANDS SWOLLEN, TOLD TO SEE A PRIVATE DENTIST WITH NO PROOF ITS MY TEETH AND REFUSED TREATMENT !!! WELL DONE NHS !!!!!

Sorry, that sounds like a nightmare. Difficult to give a clear answer on this. 'IF' it is your teeth, then obvisouly you should see a dentist, not a doctor. But that's the million dollar question. Is it or not? Maybe you gave some information to indicate that it probably was your teeth, maybe not. I really can't say. If we messed up, I appologise. I hope it all settled though. Thank you.

Shuv your ptactice, I no were I'm not wanted, you send me a letter telling me I'm abusive and then offering me blood tests and colesteral tests on the same day. I get up today to a letter saying I'm out the area, are you stupid, Ive been livin in the same home the whole time and you tryed say I'm out the area 15 years ago and I turned out I'm not at all, NHS =nasty horrible staff.

Brilliant ! The doctors here are some of the best. The nurses are lovely, kind + supportive + the reception team are professional + helpful. The only downside is the appointment system (trying to get through).

Thank you for your kind words. Yes, the ability to get through to us can sometimes be tricky. It's to do with the volume of calls we get from all the people who need help and ring around the same time. The more people who use the online system, the less congestion we will have on the phone lines. Thank you.

Useful to have detail of activity on website but presentation appears defensive and accusatory...not nice for it to be the first thing we see when we log on! Most of us appreciate how hard everyone in the NHS is working...but on the flip side it is under pressure and patient access to services at GP and hospital is often difficult.

Excellent point. I agree. The wording is towards the 'sharper' side. This was written when the media seemed to think it was a good idea to accuse GP practices of being lazy. Unfortunately, many people thought that was true and were very aggressive to our reception staff in particular. And giving a sharp reply back to make sure people were aware of exactly how hard we work, was a good idea at that time (perhaps). I've reworded it based on your feedback and will repost it soon. Thank you very much : )
