Travel vaccinations Posted on 14 Sep 2017

You should get advice at least eight weeks before travel, as some jabs need to be given well in advance.

First collect a 'Pre-Travel Questionnaire' from reception which should be completed and returned for the attention of the nursing team.

Your practice nurse will find out whether your existing UK jabs are up to date (they can tell from your notes). They will also review the infromation from the travel questionnaire to see what other vaccinations might be appropriate.

The nurse will contact you to arrange an appointment to discuss this and have any necessary vaccinations.
