Make An Appointment
Telephone 01922 450950, call in at the surgery, or you can now BOOK ONLINE- please visit the 'Patient Access Appointment Booking & Prescriptions' tab on the left-hand side of the 'Home' page
Routine appointments may be made up to six of the relevant doctor's working days in advance. In certain circumstances the doctor/nurse will give authority to the staff to book an appointment beyond this. We are happy for you to express a preference of practitioner when booking an appointment and will try to accommodate your request, although demand for certain GPs on occasions may prevent us from being able to satisfy this.
If you cannot keep an appointment, please inform us as soon as possible as this will assist in oversubscribed situations.
Where patients telephone requiring an urgent appointment that same day (e.g for possible chest infection, acute excerbation of asthma, persistent high temperature over 38.8°C), we have an Acute/Sameday clinic each morning which is run by one of the Practice GPs and one of the Nurse Prescribers. All patients in this clinic are added to a central list and will be seen by the most appropriate Clinician for the condition they have presented with. Patients will be asked to come in a specific half an hour time slot but may need to wait to be seen depending on the urgency of other patients conditions.
Please note that you will not be able to specify the Clinician that you see!
Please note that the Clinician will have no time to discuss wider issues within this surgery and we may ask you to book a routine appointment for certain conditions.
Many common ailments can be addressed by the community pharmacist without needing to see a GP or Nurse, please ask the staff to register you for the pharmacy first scheme.
We also offer a similar Acute/Sameday clinic each afternoon from 4-5.30pm
Kate Mason, Claire Higgs and Ian Cooper are nurse prescribers and can offer appropriate medications for a wide range of conditions.
